This policy explains how SHER Networks handles personal data when you use this website. It is written to meet the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the data protection law applicable in the United Arab Emirates.

2. Data we process
Visiting the website
When you open a page, our hosting provider processes technical data that your browser sends (IP address, date and time, page requested, browser type) to deliver the page and protect the website against attacks. We do not use tracking cookies, advertising tools or social media plugins. We use privacy-friendly, cookieless visitor statistics that do not identify you.
Configurator and request
When you request an estimate we process: your project answers; your first and last name; company name; company email; company country; and, if you provide them, phone number and VAT number. To prevent abuse we also process a shortened, one-way-encrypted (hashed) form of your IP address and the result of an automated security check (Cloudflare Turnstile).
Email verification
To verify your email address you send us a short email. We process the sender address, subject line, the time received and the result of standard email authentication checks (SPF, DKIM, DMARC). We do not store the content of that email beyond what is needed for verification.
Browser storage
We store your configurator answers and language choice in your own browser (local storage) so your progress isn't lost. This data never leaves your device unless you submit a request. No cookies are set.
3. Purposes and legal bases
- Preparing your estimate and offer, and communicating about it: steps prior to entering into a contract (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)).
- Verifying that requests come from real businesses, preventing spam and protecting our systems: our legitimate interest (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)).
- Checking an EU VAT number you provide with the European Commission's VIES service: steps prior to a contract and legal obligations around invoicing (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b) and (c)).
4. Recipients
- Cloudflare, Inc., which hosts this website, its database and email handling, and provides the security check, as our processor.
- European Commission VIES, only if you enter an EU VAT number, to confirm it is valid.
- Our EU partner company, only if you ask to contract with an EU-based company, to prepare that contract.
We never sell your data or share it for advertising.
5. International transfers
We are based in the United Arab Emirates, and our hosting provider operates worldwide. Where data is transferred outside the EU/EEA, this is protected by the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses or other safeguards required by law. Our database is located in the EU region where available.
6. How long we keep data
- Requests that are never verified: deleted automatically after 7 days.
- Verified requests and offers: kept for 2 years, unless a contract follows, in which case the statutory retention periods apply.
- Security logs: up to 30 days.
7. Your rights
You have the right to access, correct or delete your data, to restrict or object to processing, and to data portability. Where processing is based on our legitimate interest, you can object at any time. Write to privacy@shernetworks.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, in particular in the EU country where you live or work.
8. Automated decisions
The price estimate is calculated automatically from your answers. It is a non-binding indication and does not produce legal effects; the final price is always confirmed by a person.
9. Changes
We may update this policy when our services or the law change. The current version is always available on this page.
